This is an event that brings students from all of our ensembles together. Honor Band is open to students by nomination from your band director, as it is for students who are ready for a musical challenge. Nominations typically go out early March.
Upon registration, students will receive their music ahead of time to practice in preparation for the Honor Band day.
Our approximate schedule for an Honor Band day:
8:30 am - Check in begins
8:45 am - 12:00 pm - Rehearsals - we will have intermittent breaks throughout the morning.
12:00 - 12:30 pm - Lunch - Domino’s pizza will be provided!
12:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Rehearsals
3:30 - Dress Rehearsal
4:00 pm - Break for Dinner
7:00 pm - Concert
